Morina longifolia is Himalayan native is full of delicacy and strength. Its prickly, aromatic foliage appears beneath pagodalike towers of jade green buds and white tubular florets. As the bees pollinate the flowers, they initially turn pink and then red, so by late summer it is possible to have pink, red and white flowers on the same elegant spike. The dark green, spiny-edged foliage is attractive too. When the blossoms are spent, the standing green stems are perfect for dried arrangements.

About this genus:
Morina (Mor-e-na) is a genus in the honeysuckle family (Caprifoliaceae). It is unofficially the provincial flower of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Morina is named in honor of Louis-Pierre Morin (1635–1715), a French physician and botanist.
For gardening purposes more often than not we are talking about the genus longifolia. This gorws anywhere in our garden that isn't full shade or waterlogged. Check it out!
